Each place we go to the vista seems to get better an better. I have taken almost 200 photos just at Arches National Park and I do not think any of them can do the place justice. It is really awe inspiring. No, I have not posted all of the pics but have chosen a choice few. Today we did a really dramatic climb to Delicate Arch. Although we did not get all the way, we did get about 90% to the site. The climb was quite steep and it was very windy. Sue was frightened and even I was getting a little anxious. I did take some pictures from another vantage point. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Sorry about the position of the photo. Having trouble rotating photos in the blog. This is Balancing Rock, if you haven't already guessed. |

Landscape Arch. Notice how little rock is near the top. Only a matter of time before this arch is gone! |

This is Delicate Arch taken from a distant vantage point. No, the picture is not slanted. This is the horizontal position. |

This is a picture of Delicate Arch from the same vantage point. |

This the hike we made up to Delicate Arch. We made it 90% of the way. It got very steep at the end and Sue got frightened and I was getting anxious as well. |

Took a scenic drive in the canyon. That is the Colorado River on the right. |
